There’s no better way to get your mind off of the events of the Electronic Entertainment Expo, then by working three nine hour shifts in a row. And that’s absolutely what I did. I haven’t had too much time to watch all of the videos my guys posted at Mortal Kombat Online, but I’ll probably stop by Josh’s over the weekend and download some more. I’m trying to figure out what I’m more upset about.. Not going on the trip this year, or just not meeting Adam West. (Batman, Family Guy) I woke up this morning to seeing a picture of Aaron and Justin with Mr. West and was highly jelous. 🙂 That beats meeting Elijah Wood any day! As for the coverage, I’m really proud how everything has turned out so far. They’ve done a great job, and they still have yet to even post the final impressions of Mortal Kombat: Armageddon. Our annual fan interview also went pretty well. This time it was just Justin Deering at the helm. I’m defintely going to withdral judgement until I get my hands on a build in a few months, but the game looks promising. I’ll be honest though, I’m definately looking more forward to next year, as Mortal Kombat 8 should be showing on the next-gen Xbox 360 and PS3 consoles at E3 2007.There should still be some more updates throughtout the weekend on the site, but you can catch up on what’s been posted so far by checking out the E3 2006 news archive:
Again, kudos to my guys. MKO traffic has been high as usual during this season. I saw about 85 registered users just alone online when I got home tonight. Here on the home front, just hanging with friends and preparing for my interviews on Monday. Last night was a blast as Nic, Bobby, and myself finished up the last of Nic’s liquor stash. We drank and watched an old tape from our trip to Akron in 2002. The only lesson learned was is that we are older and more mature. Bobby and I kept cracking up at seeing Nic with his piercings and cussing up a storm. Good times.. Tonight I saw Poseidon with Mike and Josh.. really awesome.
With that I’m out.. more to come during the weekend.
